All Things: KCRC Online Service for July 5, 2020.

The Heidelberg Catechism makes the audacious claim that all things (not just ‘good’ things) come to us from God’s Fatherly hand (Q&A 27)…which includes COVID-19.  The catechism’s confidence is grounded in the promises of scripture found in places like Romans 8:28.  Paul’s famous promise is not that everything that happens to us in life is good.  He writes these verses precisely because so much of what we experience in life can be downright heartbreaking and evil. Rather, what Paul promises is that God is so wise .and so sovereign that He will turn even the truly terrible things in our lives and in this world toward the good of making us into the likeness of his son Jesus Christ.

Please join us for today’s message as Pastor Craig Hoekema will reflect with us some of the ways God may be at work for our good in the midst of the pandemic. Grab your bibles as we study from Romans 8:28-30.

At this time our worship services continue online only as we discern the best way to again meet safely for in- person worship.

During COVID-19 we are streaming our services, this service is now available for audio download see link below. Wherever social distancing finds you today, your kitchen, your living room, by yourself or with your family, you are welcome please join us……
Please note – those of you using a mobile device may have to set your browser to “desktop mode” to access the download button (a glitch with our site – sorry about that).

And, hey, once this COVID crisis is safely over, and live worship resumes (yes, we’ll let you know), we’d love to have you join us in person for worship.
We usually gather each Sunday at 10am.
Don’t worry about getting all gussied up.  Just come as you are – we’re a church full of imperfect people.
And we’d be glad to have other imperfect people, like you, along for the ride! STAY TUNED – we’ll let you know just as soon as Sunday, in-person worship resumes.
